Carrefour : il n'y a plus qu'un seul candidat interne en lice
La succession de Georges Plassat à la tête de Carrefour entre dans sa dernière ligne droite. Si l’on part du principe que son nom sera dévoilé lors de la prochaine assemblée générale du distributeur, le 15 juin prochain, il est donc entendu qu’il sera choisi d’ici à la fin du mois d’avril. Selon les informations de WanSquare, il ne reste plus que deux noms en lice. Un en interne et un en externe.
En interne, après une stricte sélection, c’est finalement Jacques Ehrmann qui arrive en tête des prétendants, après avoir fait longtemps jeu égal avec Pascal Clouzard qui depuis 2011 a succédé à Noël Prioux à la tête de Carrefour Espagne. Jacques Ehrmann, arrivé voici quatre ans chez Carrefour, PDG de son pôle immobilier Carmila. C’est lui qui a organisé sa prochaine cotation en Bourse, répondant ainsi aux vœux, moult fois réitérés, des actionnaires de financiariser les riches actifs immobiliers du groupe. L’homme n’est d’ailleurs pas seulement spécialisé dans l’immobilier puisqu’il a commencé sa carrière au sein des Hôtels Méridien, avant de passer chez Euro Disney et Club Med. Il s’est ensuite occupé, 10 ans durant, des actifs immobiliers de Jean-Charles Naouri via sa filiale cotée Mercialys.
A-t-il ses chances ? Il a face à lui un autre candidat venu de l’extérieur. Et pour l’heure, son identité est soigneusement cachée. Selon les informations de WanSquare, il ne s’agirait plus de Bernado Sanchez Incera, ni d’Alexandre Bompard. Son profil est toutefois clairement identifié : la personne idoine doit être relativement jeune, être aguerrie au monde de la distribution, éventuellement spécialisée, adepte des nouvelles technologies de manière à transformer l’essai du digital au sein de la distribution et avoir une bonne vision de l’international. A priori, c’est plutôt la carte de Bernard Arnault. Mais tout se jouera toutefois sur la pertinence des projets présentés par les deux finalistes et leur capacité supposée à délivrer leur point de vue pour diriger cet énorme paquebot qu’est Carrefour à la tête de 380.000 salariés et 86 milliards d’euros de chiffre d’affaires.
