Engie : le poste d’Isabelle Kocher sur la sellette
Il est de notoriété publique que la passation de pouvoir progressive entre Gérard Mestrallet et Isabelle Kocher chez Engie ne se passe pas comme escompté. L’homme fort du groupe aurait des doutes sur la capacité de la directrice générale, en poste depuis mai, à prendre sa suite. C’est pourquoi, le patron envisagerait une alternative.
Selon nos informations, l’alternative s’appellerait Alexandre Bompard. Le PDG de la Fnac pourrait saisir cette opportunité, à l’heure où sa maison entre dans une phase cruciale, à savoir délivrer les synergies promises à la suite de la fusion Fnac-Darty, qui a coûté plus cher que prévu. Alexandre Bompard était d’ailleurs donné un temps chez Carrefour pour succéder à Georges Plassat.
Toutefois, il n’est pas du tout dit que le remplacement d’Isabelle Kocher soit validé par le conseil d’administration, qui compte notamment des représentants de l’Etat. D’abord parce que cette ancienne du cabinet de Lionel Jospin a des soutiens à gauche. Des personnalités, comme Stéphane Pallez, PDG de la Française des Jeux, ont gravité dans les mêmes sphères ministérielles qu'elle. En outre, il paraît compliqué de remplacer une femme par un homme alors même que la parité est l’un des grands enjeux pour les entreprises. Le board, très féminin, d’Engie pourrait ne pas aider.
A noter que Jean-Pierre Jouyet, secrétaire général de l’Elysée, soutien d’Alexandre Bompard, pourrait ne pas sortir du bois étant donné la configuration actuelle, notamment dans la perspective de l’élection présidentielle. Enfin, si le manque de fluidité entre les deux patrons d’Engie est notable, le talent d’Isabelle Kocher est reconnu par beaucoup.
