Du changement dans le top Glassdoor des PDG
Plusieurs secteurs d’activités sont représentés dans ce classement, qui met en lumière cette année les patrons de Louis Vuitton, d’Ubisoft et de Natixis. Quatre hommes forts sont par ailleurs ex-aequo.

Glassdoor a publié les classements des meilleurs employeurs 2018 mais aussi ses top 10 des PDG. Grâce à son algorithme, le site a trié les avis laissés de manière anonyme par les employés entre les mois de mai 2017 et mai de cette année. En tout, ce sont environ 770.000 employeurs dans le monde qui ont été notés. En moyenne, ils ont obtenu un score de 69%. De là, Glassdoor a défini plusieurs top, couvrant les Etats-Unis, le Canada, l’Allemagne, la Grande-Bretagne, mais aussi la France.
Qu’est-ce qui distingue un CEO de ses pairs ? « Selon une étude de Glassdoor Economic Research, les CEO très bien notés sont statistiquement liés à des sociétés ayant une bonne culture d’entreprise. Parmi les éléments permettant de mesurer la culture, le principal facteur (…) est la satisfaction des employés vis-à-vis de la direction. L’étude révèle aussi un lien fort entre une bonne cote du CEO et la performance financière », selon le communiqué.
Si l'on regarde l'avis des employés français, le classement a bien évolué d’une année sur l’autre. Seulement trois dirigeants étaient présents dans le top 2017 et celui de 2018. Le premier d'entre eux l'an passé ne conserve pas sa place de leader mais reste néanmoins présent. Il s’agit de Satya Nadella de Microsoft, passé d’un score de 99% à 95%. Le numéro deux de 2018 a lui en revanche monté en grade. Yves Guillemot d’Ubisoft, qui était à la 6ème place est donc dorénavant sur la deuxième marche. Enfin, Patrice Caine de Thales qui était 9ème ex aequo (avec un score de 95%) devient 7ème (94%).
Le patron du groupe d’électronique est encore ex aequo, cette fois avec trois autres dirigeants : Bradley S. Jacobs de XPO Logistics, Jean Bassères de Pôle emploi et Bernard Charlès de Dassault Systèmes. Alors qui truste le haut du classement ? Il s’agit du patron de Louis Vuitton, Michael Burke, qui recueille 99% d’approbation, suivi d’Yves Guillemot donc et de Laurent Mignon, qui était alors encore le directeur général de Natixis. Enfin la quatrième place est attribuée à Lynne Doughtie de KPMG et la cinquième à David Layani de Onepoint.
