Alerte : Moody’s maintient la note de la France

L’agence de notation américaine ne modifie pas la note qu’elle attribue à la solvabilité de la puissance publique hexagonale. Elle se situe ainsi toujours à Aa2, toutefois la perspective qui y est associée devient négative alors qu’elle était stable. "Le maintien de la note s’explique par la taille, la richesse et la diversité de l’économie française. Le profil démographique du pays est plus favorable que celui de nombreuses autres économies avancées, bien que les coûts du vieillissement restent élevés et que les taux d’activité relativement faibles des travailleurs âgés signifient que la France ne tire pas pleinement parti de cette force relative", soulignent les analystes de Moody’s, qui estiment en outre que "les institutions publiques sont saines et compétentes, et les gouvernements précédents ont démontré leur volonté et leur capacité à réformer l’économie, bien que la gestion budgétaire se soit affaiblie". Ce dernier point est d’ailleurs mis en avant pour justifier l’abaissement de la perspective. "Il y a un risque croissant que le gouvernement français ne soit pas en mesure de mettre en œuvre les politiques qui permettraient d’éviter des déficits budgétaires durablement plus importants que prévu et une détérioration du coût de la dette", indique l’agence.
