Alerte : la Banque d’Angleterre baisse ses taux d’intérêt

La vieille dame de Threadneedle Street a abaissé de 25 points de base son taux d’intérêt directeur. Il se situe désormais à 4,75 %. C’est la deuxième diminution depuis que la Banque centrale britannique a enclenché la normalisation de sa politique monétaire cet été. "La désinflation a continué de progresser, notamment grâce à l’atténuation des chocs extérieurs antérieurs, bien que les pressions inflationnistes intérieures qui subsistent se résorbent plus lentement", estime le Comité de politique monétaire.
