La Direction générale des Finances publiques a une nouvelle patronne / Experte des questions budgétaires, Amélie Verdier en prend la tête
Cette ex-directrice du Budget issue de la même promotion qu’Emmanuel Macron à l’ENA a été nommée directrice générale des finances publiques. Une suite logique pour celle qui a réalisé la quasi-intégralité de sa carrière à Bercy où elle a également été directrice de cabinet de Jérôme Cahuzac et de Bernard Cazeneuve, alors ministres délégués au Budget.

"J’ai l’ADN budgétaire chevillé au corps". Voilà comment se décrivait Amélie Verdier lorsqu’elle s’est confiée à WanSquare durant l’été 2017. Directrice de l’Agence régionale de santé (ARS) d’Île-de-France, Amélie Verdier vient d’être nommée directrice générale des Finances publiques. Elle remplace Jérôme Fournel, qui est devenu directeur de cabinet de Bruno Le Maire, ministre de l’Économie, des Finances et de la Souveraineté industrielle et numérique. Pour mémoire, la Direction générale des finances publiques (DGFiP) est issue de la fusion entre la Direction générale des Impôts et la Direction générale de la Comptabilité publique. Elle est notamment en charge de concevoir les textes législatifs et réglementaires relatifs à la fiscalité et au recouvrement des recettes publiques. En outre, elle représente le ministère de l’Économie et des Finances dans les négociations internationales en matière fiscale.
Âgée de 46 ans, Amélie Verdier est diplômée de Sciences Po Paris ainsi que de l’Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne et de l’Ecole nationale d’administration (promotion Léopold Sédar Senghor). Au sein de cette dernière, elle a compté Emmanuel Macron, président de la République, parmi ses condisciples et est devenue, comme lui, inspectrice des finances au sortir de l’institution. Quatre autres élèves intégrèrent le prestigieux corps : Marguerite Bérard, directrice de la Banque Commerciale en France et membre du comité exécutif de BNP Paribas, Pierre-Alain de Malleray, CEO du courtier Santiane, Sébastien Proto, président exécutif des cliniques Elsan et ex-directeur général adjoint de Société Générale et Jean-Baptiste Nicolas, directeur financier du spécialiste des réseaux de chaleur Idex.
Amélie Verdier rejoindra la direction du Budget en 2007 en tant que cheffe du bureau de la politique budgétaire, puis comme sous-directrice, chargée de la synthèse budgétaire. Par la suite, elle est nommée directrice de cabinet de Jérôme Cahuzac, ministre délégué chargé des Comptes publics, puis de son successeur Bernard Cazeneuve. Puis, elle deviendra directrice ajointe de cabinet de Pierre Moscovici, alors ministre de l’Économie et des Finances.
Après avoir été secrétaire générale de l’Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris entre 2014 et 2016, cette mère de deux filles signe son retour à Bercy. Elle sera nommée directrice du Budget, poste qu’elle occupera pendant quatre ans avant de partir pour l’ARS d’Île-de-France.
