Alerte : la Commission européenne recommande de placer la France sous "procédure de déficit excessif"
A l’issue d’une analyse sur la situation économique et budgétaire de chacun des 27 États membres de l’Union européenne, Bruxelles a remarqué que sept d’entre eux (Belgique, Italie, Hongrie, Malte, Pologne, Slovaquie et France) présentaient un déficit public en proportion du PIB supérieur à 3 %, ce qu’interdit le Pacte de stabilité et de croissance. En conséquence de quoi, elle va proposer au Conseil européen d’ouvrir des procédures pour déficit excessif en juillet. "Dans le cadre du Semestre européen d’automne, pour assurer la cohérence avec la trajectoire d’ajustement définie dans les plans à moyen terme, la Commission proposera au Conseil des recommandations pour mettre fin à la situation de déficit excessif", indique l’exécutif européen.
