La numéro deux du Trésor fait ses valises / Muriel Lacoue-Labarthe va rejoindre la Cour des comptes
Directrice générale adjointe à la direction générale du Trésor depuis 2021, Muriel Lacoue-Labarthe a été nommée conseillère maître à la Cour des comptes en Conseil des ministres. Son successeur n’est pas encore connu.

L’état-major de la Direction générale du Trésor (DG Trésor) va évoluer. Muriel Lacoue-Labarthe, directrice générale adjointe, va partir à la Cour des comptes. Sur proposition du Premier ministre Gabriel Attal, elle a été nommée conseillère maître, ce à compter du 1er juillet.
Muriel Lacoue-Labarthe est titulaire d’une licence de droit des affaires de l’université Paris II-Panthéon Assas et est diplômée de Sciences Po Paris. Elle fit également partie de la promotion Nelson Mandela à l’ENA où elle a compté parmi ses camarades : Laurent Wauquiez, président du conseil régional d’Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, François Riahi, ex-directeur général de Natixis et directeur général de FL Entertainment, Corso Bavagnoli, associé-gérant chez Lazard, Aurélie Robineau-Israël, directrice des ressources humaines et membre du comité exécutif du groupe Caisse des dépôts ou encore Bertrand Dumont, directeur général du Trésor.
Cette native d’Orléans a effectué une grande partie de sa carrière professionnelle à la DG Trésor et a souvent été confrontée aux questions ayant trait à la concurrence et à l’Europe. Elle a notamment été cheffe du secteur "marché intérieur, consommateurs, concurrence aides d’État et armement" au secrétariat général des affaires européennes entre 2007 et 2010 puis cheffe du bureau de la coordination et de la stratégie européenne de la direction générale du Trésor jusqu’en 2012.
Par la suite, elle a été conseillère en charge des affaires européennes et financières internationales au cabinet du ministre de l’Économie et des Finances pendant deux ans et devient, dès 2014, sous-directrice des affaires européennes de la direction générale du Trésor. Avant d’être désignée comme numéro deux du Trésor, Muriel Lacoue-Labarthe était sous-directrice en charge de la politique commerciale, de l’investissement et de la lutte contre la criminalité financière et, depuis septembre 2020, cheffe du service des affaires bilatérales et de l’internationalisation des entreprises (Sabine) de la direction générale Trésor.
